To foster immediate networking and connection, you are automatically opting into the public alumni directory upon registration. This means certain profile information (such as your name, graduation year, faculty, department, company, and position) will be visible to other registered alumni. You retain full control over this visibility and can opt out, hide specific details, or remove your profile from the public directory at any time through your account settings.
4.3 Third-Party Service Providers
EASS engages trusted, industry-leading third-party service providers for cloud hosting, email delivery, and analytics to ensure platform reliability. While we do not publicly list specific vendors for security reasons, all third-party providers are strictly governed by robust Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) that mandate compliance with NDPC standards. Inactivity Rule: To ensure data minimization, any account that remains inactive for a continuous period of two (2) years will be automatically deleted or securely anonymized along with all associated personal data.
Financial Records: UNILAG and its third-party payment processors manage all financial transaction logs. These records are retained according to the respective privacy policies of those providers and applicable Nigerian financial regulations.
